Tea Cup Necklaces

These are some fun tea cup necklaces I made. I totally love them. The whole idea of using mini tea sets in jewelry is quite fun for me.

Flowers and ribbons and sunshine.

These were a little experiment of mine, to see how well I could apply faax flowers to jewelry, without using hot glue. I would love to make a whole bunch more of these. I made a pair of these earrings for myself and I have to say, they have been great. People around me always seem to take a second look when they see me wearing them as well. What do you think? Should I make more of these? Find more colors?

Cork Anklet

Is it too early for summer jewelry? Because between corks and pearls, this anklet just screams "day at the beach."

Here's a tip: you can buy these "Screw Eyes" at pretty much any hardware store. I have used them to make a plethora of materials into charms and pendants. Anything soft enough for you to be able to twist the eye in by hand will work (and you would be surprised what adorable things will work). For example, I have used acorn caps and novelty erasers with these screw eyes. They are cheap, and incredibly useful.

Steam-Punk Earrings

Once upon a time, I made a whole bunch of pairs of these teeny tiny steampunk earrings. They are, of course, made from watch parts. I have several pairs to sell! I get compliments every time I wear them!

Flower Rings

Just some eye candy for you of a few flower rings that I made. The top one is my favorite.

Recent Creations

I've been playing with feathers here and there for a while, but I recently made these colorful earrings. Yes I am wearing blue lipstick, yes it is No She Didn't from Lime Crime. I also put some purple eyeshadow in the center for a more warm, 3D effect.

I recently played around with this sweatshirt, which was on clearance at Walmart for $1. I'm sorry I am stupid at taking pictures of stuff. In both of these I totally covered up the polka-dot bow on the corner of the heart. If you want to know what I did, it was easy. I basically just cut out a heart and oval-ish shapes (for the elbow patches) and sewed them straight on, like appliques. Then I made this bow, which is my favorite and the tutorial the link will lead you to is great.

That's about as complicated as it gets for me and sewing. Pretty easy.
Let me know what you think! Have a great day!
